The first surprise at the entrance of Ablanedo is this fine specimen that has its roots inside the wall.
Since the road is a large body of yew reach it is difficult by the rugged terrain, and the constant presence of barbed wire that hinders the passage, once in place, it is not a puck, actually it's about 4 monumental copies.
Perhaps the most important of the yews of Ablanedo is this that is at the home of Antonio, is a copy of great beauty and an excellent condition, the house also has a young specimen.
In the upper town, between abandoned houses this old yew is a poor condition.
In the center of town, on the road that will lead to the CastaƱal, is one of the few inhabited properties, residents have a livestock farm, the yews found here seem to have been planted as a barrier against air.
To end this summary of yews found in Ablanedo, I have only to present these beautiful specimens found at the home of Miguel and Silvia, and in a cabin that is on your side, Miguel turned out to be a fan of yew, housing is the last of the people and is where the road was the place part of the CastaƱal.
